23 सितंबर 2026 को भारत के पूर्वी और दक्षिणी तटीय इलाकों में मौसम का खतरा बढ़ गया है। Bay of Bengal के पश्चिम-मध्य और उत्तर-पश्चिम हिस्से में एक Deep Depression active है जो तेज़ी से Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast की तरफ बढ़ रहा है।
India Meteorological Department (IMD) के अनुसार यह system 23 September की रात तक Visakhapatnam और Gopalpur के बीच, Kalingapatnam के पास coast को cross करने की संभावना है।

IMD ने Coastal Andhra Pradesh के लिए 23 September को Extremely Heavy Rainfall की warning जारी की है — साथ में Thunderstorm/Lightning और तेज़ surface winds की भी चेतावनी है। 24 September को भी इस region में Very Heavy Rain का warning जारी है।
